Getting Started with the AVA AlphaTrader: 

Use the following set of instructions to download and start working with the AVA AlphaTrader. Experience how straightforward and easy it is to use.

Getting Started with the AVA AlphaTrader is a process that consists of the following topics:


Install the Trader Application

Download and install the AVA AlphaTrader client application in your machine.

To download and install the Trader, do the following:

  1. In your browser, click here.
    The     File Download dialog displays.

  1. In the dialog, click the Run button.
    The s    ecurity warning dialog displays.

  1. In the dialog, click the Run button.
    The download progress window displays.

When the download progress window closes, the AVA AlphaTrader is installed in your machine and its application shortcut, , is available on your desktop.
The Trader Log In window then automatically displays.

  1. Continue either by proceeding with the section Log In to the Trader or proceed with section Register New Trader.

Register New Trader

After installing the Trader, in order to log in, you must register a new trader via the displayed

Trader Log In window. Registering a new trader accomplishes the following:

  1. Creates a new user
  2. Creates a new account

To register a new trader, do the following:

  1. In the Trader Log In window, click either the Register Real or Register Demo button.

         A browser opens and the Registration page displays.  Fill in all the form and follow the instructions.
         When you have successfully registered as a user you will receive both an email as well as a thank you page.
         Once the thank you page is received you may proceed with the trader application.

     2.  Continue the Getting Started process with section Log In to the Trader.

Log In to the Trader

After creating your new user and an initial trading account, log in to the Trader via the displayed Trader Log In window.

To log in to the Trader, do the following:

  1. In the Trader Log In window, complete the following fields:
    • Username
    • Password
  2. In the dropdown menu field, select the option.
  3. Select Save Password, if you want the Trader to retain the provided password for future, log in use (avoids having to provide the password at each log in).
  4. Click the Log In button.
  5. The icon , in the upper right corner of the workspace, verifies that your Trader is logged in to the Trading Marathon system.

In the Trader, see the Help sections entitled Open a Trade and Create an Order.
